On April 24, Ambassador Shen Minjuan, accompanied by UNDP Resident Representative in Mongolia Matilda Dimovska, visited the UNDP’s renewable powered heating project in the ger areas.

    Representative Dimovska and local directors said that the project aims to enhance heating conditions and generate carbon credits to increase income for the ger community. Chinese enterprises have strongly supported the project and the UNDP looks forward to further cooperating with China in future.

    Ambassador Shen said that the project contributes to improving the living standards of Mongolian grassroots and reducing environmental pollution. China stands ready to share technologies and expertise with Mongolia and UN agencies to achieve more progress together.
