On December 18, Ambassador Shen Minjuan met with Tapan Mishra, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Mongolia.

Mishra introduced the work of the United Nations in Mongolia, appreciated China's active support for Mongolia's desertification control and its socio-economic development, and looks forward to deepening cooperation with China in key areas. 

Ambassador Shen said that she is willing to work together with the United Nations agencies in Mongolia to support Mongolia in developing its economy and improving people's livelihood.
