On March 1, Ambassador Shen Minjuan met with Mr. Battushig, President of the Mongolian Olympic Committee, and exchanged views on China-Mongolia sports cooperation.

Battushig spoke highly of China's successful 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games, and wished 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games a great success. He looks forward to stronger cooperation of the two countries on sports for better growth of the sector.

Ambassador Shen said that it is delighted that Mongolia sent its largest delegation in history to the Hangzhou Asian Games last year and achieved good results. Sports cooperation is an important part of China-Mongolia relations. We hope it will become a highlight of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year to enhance the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
