On March 24, Ambassador Shen Minjuan met with Governor of Dornogovi Province Batjargal in Zamiin Uud.

Governor Batjargal extended appreciation for the Chinese side on providing aid to build the facilities at the Zamiin Uud border crossing point. The upgraded facilities and improved customs clearance capacity have enhanced opening up of Dornogovi Province and created more opportunities for port economy. Dornogovi Province looks forward to closer exchanges with local areas in China and welcomes investment from Chinese enterprises in the province. 

Ambassador Shen said that China places a priority on exchanges at local level. We look forward to Dornogovi Province’s role as a close neighbor that offers convenience of ports to play a bigger role in Belt and Road cooperation between the two countries.
