On July 22, Ambassador Shen Minjuan met with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia and Minister of Economy and Development Gantumur Luvsannyam and exchanged opinions on economic and trade cooperation.

Gantumur noted that the new Mongolian government places a high priority on its cooperation with China. It is ready to align deeper with the Chinese side, give full play to the mechanisms and platforms, and deepen cooperation in trade facilitation, border port connectivity, renewable energy and technology for greater win-win results. 

Ambassador Shen said that China is willing to work with the Mongolian side to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and strengthen high-quality Belt and Road cooperation to promote steady development of the economic and trade cooperation.
