On February 21, Ambassador Shen Minjuan met with Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Enkhbayar Jadamba to exchange views on agricultural and husbandry cooperation between the two countries.
Enkhbayar stated that the bilateral relationship and economic and trade cooperation between the two countries enjoy sound development. The Mongolian side has proposed several strategies for the development of agriculture and animal husbandry and hopes to strengthen cooperation with China to tap into the potential for cooperation, expand trade in agricultural and husbandry products, and make a greater contribution to the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador Shen appreciated the high priority given by the new Mongolian government to agricultural and husbandry cooperation, expressing China's willingness to make good use of cooperation platforms with Mongolia, increase technical sharing and capacity building, and promote agricultural and husbandry cooperation between the two countries to a new level. She also looks forward to greater policy support from the Mongolian side.
