Recently, Ambassador Shen Minjuan visited the First Mongolian Nomadic Winter Culture Festival at the Mongolian National Park at invitation.

Accompanied by S. Bayasgalan, Advisor to the Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia, Ambassador Shen saw unique ice sculptures, including one of the Gobi bear, and engaged warmly with local herders inside a traditional ger. 

Ambassador Shen shared that China had recently celebrated the Chinese New Year of the Snake and successfully hosted the Harbin Asian Winter Games. She extended best wishes with the auspicious snake toy and expressed her warm regards for the upcoming Tsagaan Sar. 

The local herders introduced their cultural traditions, performed traditional songs, and offered specialty foods, expressing their hope that more Chinese visitors would come to Mongolia to experience nomadic culture.

Advisor Bayasgalan highly praised the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival and expressed a keen interest in learning from China's experience to promote the development of Mongolia’s winter tourism industry.
