Ambassador Shen Minjuan Visits Nalaikh District of Ulaanbaatar

On March 11, Ambassador Shen Minjuan visited Nalaikh District of Ulaanbaatar.

District Governor Nayambayar welcomed Ambassador Shen and her delegation, stating that Nalaikh District is set to be upgraded to a national-level city. He expressed his hope to learn from China’s development experience, deepen cooperation with China, and build a green and smart new city.

Ambassador Shen noted that China’s Two Sessions have conveyed a clear message of stability and progress, which will create greater opportunities for the world, particularly for neighboring countries including Mongolia. She affirmed China’s willingness to provide support and assistance for Nalaikh’s urban development.

Accompanied by Governor Nayambayar, Ambassador Shen laid a wreath at the monument of Mongolia’s first Labor Hero, visited the Nalaikh District Health Center and the pediatric clinic funded by the China Foundation for Peace and Development, and the Sain Nomun Monastery, Changdeman Erden School, and Experimental School No. 119.

Ambassador Shen engaged in warm conversations with local residents and expressed her respect for healthcare workers and teachers. She emphasized that Chinese aid workers had made significant contributions to Mongolia’s national development, and many buildings constructed with Chinese assistance in Nalaikh remain in good condition and are still in use today. As cooperation between the two countries continues to deepen, she expressed her hope and belief that more Mongolian friends will choose to learn Chinese and contribute to China-Mongolia cooperation and friendship.
