On April 2, Ambassador Shen Minjuan met with Ms. Paola Pampaloni, Deputy Managing Director for Asia-Pacific at the European External Action Service, who was in Mongolia to attend the Mongolia-EU Human Rights Dialogue and the Mongolia-EU Joint Committee meeting.

Ambassador Shen noted that as Mongolia’s important neighbor and largest trading partner, China has been working closely with Mongolia in areas such as infrastructure development, desertification control, and human resources training. She expressed China’s willingness to work together with the EU to support Mongolia’s economic and social development.

Ms. Pampaloni stated that the EU is ready to work with China to support Mongolia’s efforts in energy transition, climate change response, and air pollution control.
