Liu Jianchao Meets with Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene, Chairman of the Mongolian People's Party and Mongolian Prime Minister at Request

Beijing, October 18th—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today at request with Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene, Chairman of the Mongolian People's Party and Mongolian Prime Minister, during his transit through Beijing on his way back to Mongolia.

Oyun-Erdene said, this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Mongolia and China. Mongolia and China are neighbors, and the traditional friendly relations between the two countries have become a model of mutual respect and win-win cooperation among neighboring countries. The Mongolian side appreciates and supports a series of major concepts and initiatives put forward by the Chinese side, and is willing to enhance synergy of development strategies with the Chinese side, promote bilateral cooperation in economy, trade, energy and green development, deepen communication and coordination in international affairs, and push for new and greater development of bilateral relations. The Mongolian People's Party has maintained close exchanges with the CPC for a long time, and is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties at all levels and youth exchanges and cooperation, and exchange and learn from China's experience in state governance and administration.

Liu said, a few days ago, President Xi Jinping exchanged congratulatory messages with President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties, charting the course for the efforts of China and Mongolia to jointly promote modernization and build a solid foundation for a community with a shared future. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Mongolian side to firmly grasp the right direction of development of bilateral relations, consolidate political mutual trust, advance practical economic and trade cooperation, and strengthen communication and coordination on international and regional affairs. The relationship between political parties is an important bond for the sound and stable development of China-Mongolia relations. The CPC stands ready to work with all Mongolian political parties to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen political dialogue, deepen strategic communication, activate exchanges in various fields, enhance mutual understanding and people-to-people bonds, and inject new impetus into the building of a China-Mongolia community with a shared future.
