Your Excellency Madam Ambassador Shen Minjuan,

Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen,

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the PRC, on behalf of the Government of Mongolia, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to the Government of China, and the friendly people of China.

Allow me to convey my profound gratitude to the generations from all fields of our nations that contributed to the 75 year friendly history between Mongolia and China.

In the 75 years since the founding of a New China, the PRC has developed by leaps and bounds, successfully constructed Socialism with Chinese characteristics, and has now become a country that plays a decisive role in world peace, stability, and economic development for which we as your neighbors express our genuine congratulations.

I’d like to underscore that the PRC’s rapid development, economic success has brought not only new opportunities, and new avenues for cooperation, but has raised Asia’s reputation and significance on the world stage.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the PRC. Our two nations, which enjoy historically friendly and traditional relations are developing exemplary relations not just in our region but on the international stage.

It is the responsibilities of our time to look back on the history of our friendly relations on this momentous 75th anniversary, strengthen the traditional relations that were continuously developed on the foundations erected by our previous generations, and to define the next steps of our mutually beneficial cooperation that will develop intensively in the coming years.

The PRC Vice President Han Zheng’s visit to Mongolia on this extraordinary anniversary has fortified our strategic partnership, played an important role in furthering our mutually beneficial cooperation.

Ten years ago, PRC President Xi Jinping during his visit to Mongolia said “I sincerely wish the construction of Mongolia to flourish like galloping horses. I wish success to Mongolia-China comprehensive strategic partnership and cooperation, like a whip to a galloping horse.”

In 2022, President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh, PRC President Xi Jinping announced the goal to reach 20 billion USD in bilateral trade. Last year, bilateral trade volume reached 17 billion USD which is a result of active cooperation from both sides.

Since 2011, within the pledge of 3.3 billion RMB in grants, 3 projects have been successfully implemented by the PRC’s funding, and contract negotiations are ongoing for 6 projects. However, out of 22 planned projects worth 1.5 billion USD in concessional loans, 14 projects have been successfully implemented, while the remaining projects are underway or contract negotiations are ongoing.

Under the framework of Mongolia’s long term development policy “Vision – 2050”, “New Recovery Policy” and PRC’s “Belt and Road initiative” I have reached a mutual agreement with PRC Premier Li Qiang to

- Connect Gashuunsukhait-Gantsmod, Shiveekhuren-Sekhee, Khangi-Mandal, Bichigt-Zuunkhatavch railways,

- Energize cross-border tourism “The Tea road” program,

- The increase of water and airports meets the bilateral development interest.

I am pleased Madam Ambassador Shen Minjuan has actively promoted many bilateral cooperation projects in a short period of time.

As Prime Minister of Mongolia, I personally participated in many bilateral cooperation project opening ceremonies with Madam Ambassador Shen Minjuan. I am confident we will see each other again on opening ceremonies to implement many projects in the future.

It is said a family has one heartbeat, and neighbors share a common goal. Please allow me to congratulate you again on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the PRC, and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two nations, and wish Mongolia-China friendly relations and cooperation to prosper and develop in the future.
