On January 8, Ambassador Shen Minjuan met with Secretary of the National Committee on Gender Equality of Mongolia Enkhbayar. 

Enkhbayar noted that the women of Mongolia and China maintain long-term friendly exchanges. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the World Conference on Women in Beijing. Mongolia is ready to take this opportunity to broaden exchanges and cooperation with China on women’s cause. 

Ambassador Shen commended the progress of Mongolia in women’s cause over recent years and said that China will convene another Global Summit of Women at the 30th anniversary of the World Conference on Women in Beijing to implement the Beijing Declaration and the Platform for Action with the international community. China is ready to work with Mongolia to push forward the development of women’s cause for the welfare of the women in the two countries.
