On September 17, the 2026 China-Mongolia Think Tank Forum, co-hosted by the Institute of Asia-Pacific and Global Strategy of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and the Institute of International Studies of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS), was held in Ulaanbaatar. Cao Li, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy, S.Davaasuren, Deputy Minister of Economy and Development of Mongolia, Sh. Ariunaa, Academic Secretary-General of MAS, Xu Jincheng, Party Secretary of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Chen Xin, Deputy Director of the CASS Institute of Asia-Pacific and Global Strategy, attended the opening ceremony.
